D.O. Conca de Barbarà, Clay loam soil, Organic wine, Alcohol 14.5%. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. 30-year-old, valley-side vines at an altitude of 700 meters. Masia les Comes is the name of the Carbonell family’s original house. In 1988, we decided to plant six hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and four hectares of Merlot with the intention of producing our own Clos Montblanc Reserva. The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a temperature set between 25 and 28°C. After maceration with the skins, the wine is aged in French and American Oak Barrels for 18 to 24 months. Reddish purple color, clean and brilliant. Complex aroma of tobacco, black fruit, coffee, and peat. In the mouth, it feels broad, round and well structures. Long finish.
